The knife sharpener with 3 stages with carbide, diamond and Ceramic stones helps to restore a super sharp cutting edge to blunt knife blades that that have dulled with use. Place the sharpener on a flat steady platform. Push a button and turn a handle to open the sharpener. While holding the knife in one hand and the sharpener in another hand move the blade along the surface of the stone with a gentle pressure. For rough sharpening use of seriously damaged knives with a blunt blade use the first and the second slots. The third slot is used for the final stage of sharpening to eliminate burrs on the knife-edge and to provide a smooth, polished edge on the blade.
